- Are these calculators accurate?
- They use published 2026 IRS brackets, FICA caps, and state-level data from the Tax Foundation. They produce useful estimates but ignore edge cases like AMT, itemized deductions beyond the input, and married/joint filing variations.
- Do you store my financial information?
- No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. Inputs never leave your device.
- Which filing status do you assume?
- Single filer for all US calculators unless explicitly noted. Married-filing-jointly support is on the roadmap.
- Why do tax software recommendations appear?
- We display affiliate recommendations relevant to each calculator. We may earn a commission, but this does not change the calculator output or which tool we surface for a given scenario.
- Can I use this for filing my taxes?
- No. These are decision-support estimates. File using a qualified preparer or established software (TurboTax, H&R Block, FreeTaxUSA, TaxSlayer, Sprintax for nonresidents).
- Which countries are supported?
- The /income calculator covers 23 countries with country-specific deduction nomenclature and pay frequencies. All other calculators are US-only for now.
